Hansel and Gretel Bakery and Patisserie only opened last week on Clare Street, Dublin 2. This is the prettiest bakery I've ever seen in Dublin city centre. This new shop is only a few steps away from Merrion Square, it has been tastefully decorated in a gorgeous Vintage style and already catches the attention of many people passing by and stopping to admire the shop.
There is a range of fresh artisan breads baked in their Navan premises and sold daily in the bakery as well as many sweet treats beautifully displayed on China dishware or wooden boards; including croissants, sables, meringues, fruit tartlets, tea bracks, brownies and even home made jams. You can also order hot drinks to take away. I have only tasted their brown bread which was delicious but I will be back to try their sweet stuff. The place is so gorgeous that I thought I'd share a few pics. It's definitely worth a visit since it's beautiful and looks like nowhere else!
*Thanks to food blogger Yolene from Creme de Citron for telling me about this place!
