French Foodie in Dublin is 2 years old today: thanks for reading!

If someone would have told me two years ago that I’d still be writing this blog I would have not believed them.

What started as a little hobby has become a big part of my life and I’m so grateful it did. What I didn’t expect was to gain a readership and to get so into it in the first year. I also decided to take the big leap into entrepreneurship after the blog’s first anniversary and it has been a learning experience ever since. All these things happened thanks/because of the blog and the people who read it, so thank you very much for that.

I’m not paid to write restaurant reviews here, it’s really a labour of love, love of food and of Dublin. I don’t pretend to be a food writer or to be as knowledgeable as a chef (god no!). I just enjoy keeping this virtual space updated with all my food recommendations. I hope people find them helpful and enjoy them.

The last 2 years have been more than fantastic and I’m so grateful for all the positive things that happened thanks to the blog. Being judge at food competitions, the press features, being part of a photography exhibition, the awards I won and the people I've met have been some of the highlights of my life as a blogger so far. That said, it’s organizing events and meeting readers in real life, along with the face-to-face feedback that has brought me lots of happiness, probably more than all the food I’ve eaten and reviewed.

So happy birthday to my little blog and thank you so much for reading and for keeping me blogging!

PS: If you have any feedback or suggestions about the content of the blog, what you'd like to see more or less of let me know in the comments. Merci!
