When I came back from my holidays last week I decided not to drink alcohol for a month and not to eat out. My 'detox' went pretty well for 4 days... I was ready to have a quiet evening at home on Friday when Ms. E asked to meet up. We could have gone for a cup of tea or to the movies but instead I just got too tempted by all the tweets coming from 777 so booked two tickets to their Day of the Dead Halloween party, I'm so weak when it comes to the temptation of margaritas.
At €25 each I didn't know what to expect but 777 being one of my absolute favourite restaurants I knew the party could only be good.
They had cocktails specials but we stuck to the regular shaken margaritas, maybe even a few too many...
In terms of food, many little dishes to share were brought out to the guests, from sliders to taquitos, from tostados to gambas and even some (not so Mexican, but delicious nonetheless) chicken satay.
There was certainly enough to get nicely full and soak up all the drinks!
During the night I told Ms. E how the restaurant always reminds me of the movie 'From Dusk till Dawn' so I couldn't believe it when a few hours later the sexy bar dance scene from the movie was recreated in front of us. I probably can't share the video here though...
There were also prizes for the best dressed customers and music until late where we happily danced the night away...
