If you're looking for some Christmas gifts with a difference, head over to Smithfield Square to visit the We Make Good design pop up shop.
Launched on the 15th November, the store is ran by We Make Good, a new Irish social enterprise, design and homewares brand. The project is a collaboration between Irish designers and social enterprises that create work opportunities for disadvantages groups such as refugees, people with disabilities or former prisoners.
The shop is beautifully laid out in bright space on Smithfield Square just around the corner from Urbanity and Proper Order Coffee. The selection of products features Irish designed goods ranging from homemade marshmallows to beautiful satchels. Small signs next to the products tell you about the social enterprises that are involved in the project. Definitely the place to go to for some ethical Christmas shopping this year!
The shop will be open from Monday to Saturday from 11am to 7pm, 11am to 8pm on Thursdays until the 19th of December and possibly longer.
