My Contribution to Another Book

If you're an actual reader of this blog (as opposed to someone randomly ending up here through a Google search) you may remember that back in March I announced my contributions to two French travel books about Ireland.
Well, it happens that I worked on a third book last year and this one has only been released a few weeks ago so I thought I would announce it here too. I had another surreal moment when Hachette, the largest French publishing company got in touch to ask if I was interested in working with them on a new project. Their travel guide book brand Hachette Tourisme was launching a new series of Simplissime guide books with Ireland being the first of the collection. The guide is very straight forward with recommendations of things to do, eat and see all around Ireland, hence its name 'Simplissime' which means 'super easy' in French.

My contributions consisted of sharing my personal recommendations all over Ireland (apart from Donegal and Northern Ireland). All the addresses that have been added by yours truly are easy to spot, they've been marked by a little 'thumbs up' symbol and they're written in the first person. Not only do I feel honoured to get food travel writing gigs like this in my native country but I also love being able to contribute (positively I hope) to French tourists' food experience in Ireland.

Once again, this post isn't an ad or sponsored in any way and I just wanted to share the news with people who have been following me for a long time. I would have never gotten this kind of opportunities without you guys, thank you so much!
